Description

SAIC is seeking a Principal Configuration Analyst to join the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team. This position is 100% remote.

The analyst will support the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to ensure that proposed changes are being appropriately documented, reviewed, and dispositioned in accordance with company policies, industry best practices and auditing standards. Analyst will ensure that appropriate department are made aware of proposed changes and provide approval. Will work and interact with many stakeholders across the IT enterprise to effect changes across the organizatione.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the Change Advisory Board (CAB), identify opportunities for improvement to the CAB program and processes.
  • Analyze proposed change requests to ensure completeness of information and the necessary supporting documentation is included in the change request.
  • Analyze proposed change requests to determine potential effects on systems, documentation, and future audits.
  • Facilitate communication of proposed change requests to stakeholders and affected parties to ensure minimized disruptions to service and proper authorizations.
  • Identifies proposed change requests that present increased risk to the organization and facilitates stakeholder collaboration to reduce or remediate risks.
  • Support CAB meetings and support technical meetings associated with CAB activities.
  • Support CAB representation during compliance reviews by government and auditors.
  • Maintain CAB artifacts to support compliance reviews and identify areas of improvement to existing processes and data captures. 
  • Support DevOps automations development in CAB process.
  • Assist with maintaining process change management documentation.
  • Assist with communicating and presenting change management processes to stakeholders.
  • Assist with collecting evidence to support audit requests for Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 270001, NIST SP 800-171, etc.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
  • Previous configuration management experience in the IT field.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make/defend independent judgements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders to meet mission needs.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make/defend independent judgements.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and external dependencies to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge about ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge and experience in ITIL.
  • Knowledge of DevOps.

Target salary range: $105,001 - $115,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
