SAIC is deploying a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals to provide technical management and support services that will assist in delivering effective, consistent and timely project management execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).  SAIC is seeking a Insurance PL PMO Support to support project management activities within the Claims Automation program.

 

Duties to include:

  • Insurance Accounting Requirements Management and Business Analysis support.
  • Support is needed to document and analyze VA Insurance business accounting process workflows in accordance with VA Insurance product line product systems.
  • Support is needed to analyze inputs and outputs/reporting of the IT products in accordance with business process workflows.
  • The individual will work in partnership with Insurance business and IT accounting teams to ensure the Insurance IT Products are in sync with the business processes. 
  • This individual will conduct research, help develop, and track Insurance IT products requirements. The individual will elaborate accounting workflows for conversions, VALife (new insurance policy), and out of balance error conditions.
  • The individual will conduct analysis and research “out of balance” error conditions and translate errors and issues into solution for reducing and eliminating “out of balance” error conditions.

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline with at least 3 years of work experience in relevant related field(s) is required.
  • 10 years of relevant experience is heavily preferred.
  • Note that 8 years of work experience may be substituted in lieu of undergraduate degree.
  • Experience with Risk Management Planning, Tracking, and Analysis (Business Process Analysis), Change Management, Communications, Requirements Management, Human Centered Design, Emerging Business Practices and Technology Support is required.
  • A background in Accounting is preferred/required
  • Microsoft Office suite of tools and Microsoft SharePoint
  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Target salary range: $75,001 - $85,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
