SAIC is looking for a dedicated, talented Multimedia/Graphic Designer to join our fun creative team in Washington, DC Metro area. We need an exceptional individual who is enthusiastic about what they want to do for a living and excited to come in every day to learn and contribute to our team and support our various customer’s missions.

We are looking for a mid-level to senior Multimedia Design candidate who is eager to be part of a team that they can work with to develop a variety of different products for a variety of different customers. An individual that is eager to learn new experiences would be a great candidate; someone who is detail oriented and demonstrates solid time management skills and maturity.

This position will involve conceptual problem solving and translate customer requirements into visually engaging, innovative solutions to include but not limited to branding, logos, publications, print, promotional materials, briefings, posters, and branding/campaigns, and environmental design.  This position will also supporting various Government customers and will need to travel to some locations within the Washington Metropolitan area on occasion to meet with customers, deliver products, and attend meetings.

 

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly is REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent with 5 plus years of experience.
  • Must have solid portfolio for review.
  • Strong analytical skills; and have the ability to take complex information and distill it for non-expert audiences with well thought out graphics design skills.
  • Strong skills in the Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Powerpoint, Word.
  • Ability to create templates, graphics, and animation in Powerpoint and Word. Ability to work in Adobe Acrobat to edit and tweak products for print - Illustration skills a plus.
  • Proficient on PCs. (we do not work on Macs)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to change with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond to deadline pressures with demonstrated initiative, and the ability to supervise if necessary.
  • Willingness to work occasional long days and weekends during peak-project times.
  • Ability to self-manage technical projects with limited direct supervision.

 

Desired:

  • Knowledge of AfterEffects, Premiere, Audition, compression tools and other creative software
