SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) who will provide operations and maintenance (O&M), license management, and end user support for Tableau products and services on core enterprise networks to include Tableau Server, Creator, Explorer, Viewer, Prep-Conductor, e-Learning, data add-ons, and connector libraries. The SE will administer, operate, and maintain a cloud based infrastructure and Tableau servers to support the hosting of Tableau products and services on up to four enterprise networks along with providing the required end user support of these products and services. The engineer will conduct cost recover for licenses, assign licenses, and conduct training support and consultations with mission partners. To implement these services, the System Engineer will design and develop DevOps pipelines, maintain system and capability documentation, and generate requirements to make sure the visualization, security, and systems meet the standards in place.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in five or more of the following system engineering activities:
    • Utilizing Tableau Desktop, Server, Prep/Conductor, data connectors, and other Tableau add-ons
    • Demonstrated experience with standup, operation, and maintenance of enterprise capabilities and infrastructure
    • Employing Windows Server administration
    • Working within an AWS, Azure, and similar cloud environment
    • Utilizing cloud based managed services such as Simple Workflow (SWF), Data Pipeline, Relational Database (RDS), Cloudwatch, Cloudbreak, EC2, EBS, S3, KMS.
    • Implementing DevOps principles, pipeline development, deployment, maintenance, and process automation
    • Enabling Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
    • Automating server standups and builds
    • Employing requirements and full lifecycle product management
    • Utilizing Jira, Confluence, Github, and Jenkins
    • Providing end user support for GOTS and COTS software products.
    • Configuring systems and service for access control and utilizing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
    • Implementing the A&A process and composing required documentation
    • Providing product demonstrations and training sessions
    • Developing using Agile methodologies and working within an Agile environment
    • Providing product demonstrations and training sessions
• Desired:
  • Working with Linux CentOS
  • Implementing Linux server administration
  • Implementing database administration
