SAIC is rapidly growing a System Integration team to deliver a new, complex space and ground system in support of National Security. This exciting and innovative program, located in Chantilly, VA, is leveraging best practices in system engineering, via Digital Engineering, MBSE, Agile software development, and DevSecOps processes and technology. This multi-year contract will require energetic engineers to define and integrate major space systems and associated ground elements from concept into an operational enterprise.

SAIC is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Integration & Test IPT to bring the new space system and the associated ground elements from concept to an operational enterprise.  You will support system engineering and integration activities from concept, to development, integration, and transition to an operational enterprise, with an emphasis planning and maintaining test data. 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

• Data architecture & pipelining
• Scripting and reporting
• Develop, test & maintain data architectures

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

• Active TS Clearance, TS/SCI Preferred
• In-depth knowledge of SQL/ database
• Knowledge of ETL operations (Extract, Transform, Load is a three-phase process where data is extracted, transformed and loaded into an output data container)
• Experience with either AWS CodePipeline or Azure DevOps
• Demonstrated experience using code repositories such as Git

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
