SAIC is seeking to hire for an IT Technical Support role in Washington, DC!
This position provides first line technical support for local and remote users, resolving technical problems and answering queries. Support shall include content management (CM) for SAF/IA websites (AF Portal for both NIPRNet and SIPRNet, AF Public websites) to SAF/IA evolving collaboration needs (Intelink, MS SharePoint®, AFKN, visual tele-conference [VTC], etc.). This individual will work with SAF/IA to define and validate on-going information/ knowledge sharing and collaboration needs, IT and information systems (IS) strategy, and assist with IT and IS portfolio compliance activities management to ensure high up-time computing (i.e., NIPR and SIPR desktop/laptop support), DOD/AF on-site networking, remote connectivity, and telecommunications needs are met. The contractor will provide recommendations for CM strategy, realignment of sites/tools, site structure, etc. as instructed by the CIO.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience, OR AA degree and 6 years of experience, OR High school diploma and 8 years of experience.
- Capability, Maturity, Model, Integration (CMMI) Level III for Services and/or Development
-- Active DoD Secret clearance
-- Comp TIA Security+ certification with CE preferred or at a minimum IAT Level I
Three (3) or more years’ experience providing help desk support to the following:
Three (3) or more years’ experience providing communications break fix for:
Three (3) or more years’ experience providing network support NIPRNET, SIPRNET, remote desktop, CITRIX®
