Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Tester to join our S3I team in Huntsville, AL.
SAIC is supporting the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) in continuation of the M2A3 and M3A3 BFIST with FS3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) sustainment and development program. The S3I is supporting software sustainment for fielded Bradley software and hardware systems. A Senior Software Tester is needed to support Bradley vehicle integration and testing as part of the complete software lifecycle development and sustainment activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support complete software development lifecycle
- Write and execute integration test procedures used to verify system requirements
- Perform Systems and Software Integration testing on Bradley Testbeds and Vehicles
- Produce software documentation (STP, STD, STR) sufficient to support formal qualification testing.
- Analyze system, software, and hardware specifications and interface documents
- Perform limited troubleshooting of vehicle hardware and software
- Coordinate with development, systems, and maintenance teams to ensure the successful test execution
- Operate Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelors with nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Clearance Requirements:
Interim Secret security clearance prior to start date with the ability to obtain full Secret; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Hardware, software and/or embedded software test experience
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong desire to continually learn and improve
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to lift and replace heavy LRU’s
- Willingness to work outside in possibly adverse weather conditions.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in operations of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles
- Experience in setup and operations of Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P)
- Software development experience in Ada or C/C++ programming language
- Experience in Serena Dimensions CM Tools
- Experience in Mil-Std 1553B Protocol
- Experience working with Real Time Operation System (RTOS) experience, specifically VxWorks
- Development experience in MS Access
- Experience working in MS Project
