Description
SAIC is seeking a qualified Sr. IT Systems Integration Analyst for a new and exciting Air Force program out of Columbus, OH.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing support to customer in regards to the operation of the computer simulator client; including the configuration of software for various courses of action.
- Providing hardware and software integration of computer simulator equipment to ensure systems function properly
- Plan, test and implement solutions to simulator with COTS products.
- Research and discover alternative ways to provide the customer with an optimal simulator system.
- Install software patches and update computer simulator systems.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and work with little to no supervision.
- Consult with customer to define needs, problems or fixes.
- Provide customer with recommendations to solve problems
- Identify and correct hardware malfunctions
- Identify and correct software malfunctions
- Maintain computer equipment
- Provide technical support to customer
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
Required Experience & Education:
- 9+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years Site Lead or Manager experience
- Sec+ Certification
- Windows Server administration to include Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Network infrastructure and design experience
- Cloud administration (AWS, GPC, Azure)
- VMWARE or other Virtual Software packages
- Computer Networking and Routing
- Cisco networking, switches, routers, VPNs, VLANS, routing, network design, network monitoring
- NAS devices, DHCP, DNS and File Server
- Linux experience with Redhat, CentOS
Additional Experience Desired (not required):
- Flight simulator software: Prepare3d
- VR Computer Systems
- IT Security and Management
