Description
SAIC is seeking a qualified IT Systems Integration Analyst for a new and exciting program out of Columbus, OH.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing support to customer in regards to the operation of the computer simulator client; including the configuration of software for various courses of action.
- Providing hardware and software integration of computer flight simulator equipment to ensure systems function properly
- Plan, test and implement solutions through research and discovering alternative ways to provide the customer with an optimal resolution to problems.
- Deploy computer images, install software patches and update computer simulator systems.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and work with little to no supervision.
- Consult with customer and team to define needs, problems or fixes.
- Autonomous problem solving, provide innovative solutions
- Identify and correct hardware and software malfunctions in a timely manner
- Identify and correct software malfunctions
- Maintain computer equipment and inventory
- Provide technical support to customer; manage expectations
- Basic repair to electrotonic, basic component level repairs (should be able to articulate the relationship between voltage and current. Knows how to use a multi meter to locate shorts, bad power supplies, faulty equipment, etc.)
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years related experience, or PhD and 0 years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Required Experience & Education:
- Networking infrastructure to include some cloud
- Windows Policies
- PowerShell scripting
Additional Experience Desired (not required):
- Computer Networking and Routing
- Cisco networking, switches, routers, VPNs, VLANS, routing, network design, network monitoring
- Flight simulator software: Prepare3d
- NAS devices, DHCP, DNS and File Server
- Linux experience with Redhat, CentOS
- VR Computer Systems
