SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented IT Engineer Lead to join our team.

Application Support and Deployment

• Lead the deployment of existing and new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise; deployment into enterprise environments including sandbox, UAT, and production using standard software lifecycle processes.
• Research and make recommendations on application services in support of third-party development efforts.
• Ensure that any new software integration into State systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.

Ongoing Operations Support

• Operational leadership for the application d team in support of business operations.
• Identify and resolve program errors.
• Provide technical leadership to the database administrator for implementation of application data fixes.
• Liaise with system administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
• Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience
• Has a breadth of knowledge in several IT disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills
• Familiarity with application support tools such as DynaTrace and AdventNet highly desirable

Target salary range: $125,001 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
