SAIC has an immediate opening on a long held prime contract for a Configuration Management Specialist. You will have the opportunity to work with Engineers, IT Specialists, and Customers. You will have the opportunity to lead TEMs, Review Boards, and have regular interactions with Customers and Program Management. Additionally, you will obtain detailed knowledge of respective organizational practices, procedures, policies, and methodologies pertaining to the management and administration of the program.  

 Duties include: 

• Developing/improving/maintaining multiple processes throughout the program, in a variety of areas
• Purchasing/statusing of equipment supporting various IT solutions
• Coordinating the transfer and delivery of equipment to and from multiple locations 
• Supporting the physical inventory as well as managing intellectual property in asset databases. In addition, this will involve supporting traceability & accountability of version control throughout the entire life cycle

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI & Poly 
• 5+ years of related configuration management experience
• Experience with logistics or purchasing 
• Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Products 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (individually) /100 lbs. (with a group)
