SAIC has an immediate opening which will allow you to support an exciting mission!  We are looking for a Systems Integrator/Engineer to work with a customer organization that is establishing essential systems engineering, governance and requirements processes to help their organization meet their mission objectives. The successful candidate will bring systems engineering and programmatic experience and an understanding of the Government budget lifecycle.  

Qualifications

Required:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience
• Experience with the customer’s acquisition lifecycle process to help support various projects from inception to completion
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle process and how to help the customer create sound processes and guide projects through the process
• Fundamental understanding of the Government’s budget lifecycle, how to develop a plan, allocate resources then track top level project execution against the plan
• Fundamental understanding of developing a strategic plan from a top level organizational charter, then determining actionable objectives tied to the strategy
• Strong Government programmatic experience helping the customer drive success in all their activities by providing sound advice
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment
• Understanding of governance boards and processes

Desired:

• IT project management experience
• Experience working with or helping manage Government contracts
• Experience gathering requirements and writing SOWs
