SAIC has an opening for a Training Analyst to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) responsible for Functional Integration and Training of new technical and tactical improvements to the US Navy’s Surface Fleet. The training analyst will provide engineering services for both Combat System Computer Program integration and consolidation and all future Combat Systems Baselines. They will also provide program Support and serve as a training subject matter expert (SME) performing a variety of routine and non-routine tasks associated with training assessment, management and change reporting of NTSP. This role is located in Dahlgren, VA (flexwork).
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for providing support for Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT), AEGIS Combat Training System (ACTS), Advance Training Domain (ATD) and Total Ship Training Capability (TSTC) for shipboard installation and TSIPs
Provide support to the management and execution of the TSIP program across the SCSTC domain
Support meetings, symposiums, and reviews with respect to the new tasking as required to support SCSTC
Training Analyst will review TSIP data, evaluate installation of programs and equipment changes and assist in the preparation of documents with various senior-level, civilian and military stakeholders
Will analyze program information, strategize plans, produce quality analytic work in the form of information papers, white papers, briefs, and executive correspondence and effectively present the results in a clear and concise manner when required
Coordinate, validate, prioritize and synchronize Navy training requirements with other services requirements
Education and Experience
Secret clearance required
Experience with Share point development
AEGIS experience required
The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing training schedules, Navy Training System Plans (NTSP), Planning Process Methodology documents, and Navy Enlisted Occupational Classification System
Knowledge of the Navy’s Business Case Analysis (BCA), Front End Analysis (FEA), Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) in the development of curriculum
Demonstrated experience in the analyses of change recommendations and determination of impact on system readiness and user functionality pertaining to USN issues Secret security clearance required
Must be proficient in MS Office products to include Word, Power Point and Excel
