SAIC is currently seeking to hire a Senior Cyber Engineer to join our team located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Note: this position is currently working a hybrid remote schedule consisting of 50% on customer site / 50% remote. This is subject to change at customer’s discretion. Candidate must reside in or near Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Description:
- Works with Cyber personnel and other teams to ensure set up and smooth operation of various lab, development and test environments
- Assists and coaches other team members to ensure Cyber compliance
- Performs system administration duties at O/S and application layers
- Performs vulnerability scanning using various tools
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
Required Certification:
- Security+ or higher
Required Skills:
- System administration
- RMF / Cyber Compliance in a DoD environment
- Vulnerability scanning
Desired Skills:
- SIPR access
- eMASS experience
- Change management experience
