Description

SAIC is looking for a Software Engineer to support the Center for Information Warfare Training Exam Delivery System.  The candidate will support the design and integration of server and web-based applications such as Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS), Navy Exam Deliver System (EDS), and Moodle.  Conduct web server and database maintenance; troubleshoot custom servers and web-based applications; and develop custom programming code to integrate applications into CIWT networks. This position is located in Pensacola, FL.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience; four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required experience in one or more of the following:

  • Developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web applications running on Microsoft IIS / .NET Framework with support for Edge, Chrome, and Firefox web browsers.
  • Web application integration with Microsoft SQL or comparable database application(s).
  • Demonstrated expertise / documented experience with application development with HTML and .NET.

Required clearance:

  • Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Required certification:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate (or comparable) certification is required within six months of hire.
  • IAT Level 2 certification to be obtained withing 6 months of hire

Desired experience:

  • Experience with Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS/Navy Exam Delivery System (EDS, and Moodle.)
  • PowerShell, Ruby, Bash, Perl, Python, and/or Java scripting experience.
  • Experience implementing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) IIS and SQL configurations.
  • Active Directory integration of web applications and single sign-on (SSO) configuration.
