SAIC is currently seeking to hire an Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Threat Manager to function as an integral member of a team of Government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support to Project Management Office, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO ASE).

Job Description:

The PMO ASE is an acquisition management organization under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S).  The team provides acquisition management support, program research, engineering, logistics, and technical support for aircraft survivability equipment. The candidate will work with the ASE Tech Chief supporting the ASE Product Offices providing expertise to identify possible threat attack scenarios, threat attack impacts if scenarios are exploited, and new exploitation timelines to minimize impacts of threats and threat systems.  The candidate will also participate in the development of ASE systems through requirement development, risk management, modeling and simulation, and flight testing.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field

Experience Requirements:

  • 9 years Engineering experience in the defense industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the US Intelligence Community and its intelligence collection capabilities
  • Experience with scientific intelligence analysis techniques and methodologies
  • Able to perform Threat Analysis & Modeling functions
  • Knowledge of advanced propulsion devices and directed energy weapon systems
  • Experience with Foreign Material Exploitation (FME)
  • Familiar with the DoD Acquisition and Life Cycle Management System

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with airborne platform products
  • Experience with PMO ASE products and capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, including report writing
  • Self-motivated and customer-oriented

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must possess DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
