SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division is seeking a Systems Administrator (SA) to provide administration and management for proprietary training workflows, internet, intranet, and standalone systems, and deliver operations and maintenance (O&M) to systems to increase performance and reliability. The administrator will recommend process improvements to automate and streamline workflows and aid in management and distribution of mission-essential products. The SA will also provide customer service support to students and staff when needed in a timely basis, serve as backup DTO for timely transfer and delivery of information, and provide miscellaneous support on an as-needed basis to enhance training objectives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following systems administration activities:
- Managing client and server applications for 250+ user customer base
- Management and deployment of applications and servers in virtualized and traditional environments
- Administrating and managing MS Windows and Linux clients and servers
- Utilizing Windows Active Directory Account Access Management and Group Policy
- Configuring, installing, deploying, and managing Web based applications such as IIS, Apache, and FTP
- Configuring, installing, deploying and managing Microsoft Access and SQL databases
- Utilizing Perl/Python scripting and automation tools
- Using Enterprise service delivery and IT ticketing systems
- Implementing remote troubleshooting, diagnostics and performing system backups
- Executing Security, Auditing and Monitoring of client server applications
