SAIC is seeking a Software Acquisition Support Specialist with agile experience to support the United States Space Force - Space Systems Command - Special Programs Directorate, which equips our warfighters with space control systems to gain, maintain, and exploit space superiority. This directorate leads the planning, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of a complex and dynamic portfolio of space superiority capabilities of the highest national priority. The position requires an individual with strong technical project management skills and experience in the space control mission area.
Provide technical project management support enabling the Government to execute agile programs, oversee software development, and field systems and applications
Lead the Program IPT (encompassing project management, budget and funding, contracts, and resource planning) to enable Government cost, schedule, and project performance success
Facilitate and enhance project management and related processes throughout our Program Office
Coordinate system integration activities with interfacing systems, applications, and mission partners
Support Government and contractor reviews to assess progress, risks, issues, and metrics and provide the Government with timely decision data
Ensure logical and systematic conversion of project requirements into total solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Bachelor of Science in relevant discipline and 9+ years of related experience (Master’s Degree requires 7+ years) in technical program management, systems engineering, and acquisition within the areas of Space, Space Control, and Reconnaissance
Requires an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination
Must have experience managing programs throughout the engineering life cycle with emphasis in one or more of the following areas:
Bachelor’s Degree in a hard math or science/Master's Degree in engineering or Business Administration, professional certification (e.g., PMI PMP, INCOSE CSEP, etc)
