Description
SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Chief Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. These include the AN FPQ-16, Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS), the AN FPS-132, Upgraded Early Warning (UEWR) Radars and supporting systems. In support of the government customer and the SAIC Program Manager, the Chief Engineer is responsible for assisting the PM in overall project management activities, with a day-to-day focus on leading successful accomplishment of: depot maintenance and repair, support systems operations and maintenance, integrated product lifecycle support, infrastructure support, incremental sustainment services, systems (including digital) engineering, cybersecurity, configuration and data management, systems testing, and external delivery order collaboration.
