Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced SCCM (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager) Administrator to serve to support the Chief Information Office at the DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center on Redstone Arsenal - Huntsville, Alabama.
This person would support the unclassified DREN network. This includes deploying security updates/configurations, supporting Windows desktop and server images, and day-to-day support for the enterprise.
Note: this is a hybrid position - the normal schedule is three days on site at Redstone Arsenal and two days remote. Candidate must live in the Huntsville, Alabama or surrounding area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable patching, imaging, application develop, and as required architect and design using the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or currently known as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Leverage SCCM to provide security updates, cumulative rollups, hotfixes, and other updates as necessary to workstations and servers
- Maintain existing packages and add new packages as required in support of a vast customer base
- Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports utilizing SCCM and or Tanium
- Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues
- Troubleshoot unhealthy SCCM clients
- Leverage Group Policy and Active directory to modify installation package behavior, restrict features, and improve security
- Familiar with VMware and VDI technologies
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related major with two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years' experience with SCCM and Active Directory
- Cooperative, able to work as a member of a team supporting an enterprise system
- Communicative, able to clearly communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical personnel

Required Certification:
Must have a Security + or higher IADT Dod certification prior to employment
Required Clearance:
Must have a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.
