This job spans a range of Space Systems Engineering activities in a dynamic NRO System Program Office (SPO) supporting the Government customer with multiple satellite systems, both on-orbit and in development.  This position will primarily support the design, development, manufacturing, assembly, and integration and test activities for one of the major satellite programs. The job requires familiarity with NRO organization, processes, and satellite systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive support to the Government customer and tasks
• Develop productive relationships with Contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other subject matter experts
• Author, review, and coordinate documents and data to aid the Government in decision-making
• Participate in acquisition and full life-cycle development activities (Systems Engineering "V")
• Participate and represent the customer in various Government and contractor meetings and attend contractor programmatic and technical reviews (e.g. PMR, PDR/CDR, TRR, PSR, Ground Readiness, On-Orbit Testing and other meetings/activities) to provide technical and programmatic-based system recommendations and risk assessments
• Plan and execute major NRO enterprise milestones

Qualifications

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment
• TS/SCI with polygraph
