SAIC is seeking an Academic and Training support person to support our Air Force Customer out of Vance Air Force Base, OK. The primary responsibilities of this role are to oversee and support student academic learning through the LMS and other associated learning resources for student pilots. They will also assist in student progress reports and instructor reports to aid instructor pilots in identifying areas of needed in-person instruction based on academic progress reports. This individual does not need to have experience in aviation, but must be able to interpret and advise learning recommendations for instructors and students based on learning science and instructional design best practices. This individual will work alongside other support personnel such as the Network and Site Lead, the customer, and the Vance AFB Team to support pilot training.
*Candidates must be local or commutable to the Enid, OK area.
This person will be responsible for:
* Support Academic Instruction, student management, and courseware maintenance
* Support special events and meetings (examples: distinguished visitors, unit status meetings, etc.).
* Train local personnel on proper use and capabilities of the LMS, reporting capabilities, and other learning assets.
* Assist in identifying any necessary courseware updates or revisions as identified by SMEs.
REQUIRED: up to 3 years' experience and a BA/BS degree Instructional System Design, or Training Design, or related field.
DESIRED: 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. Instructional System Design, or Training Design and Analysis and experience with adaptive learning.
