Description
SAIC is seeking a System Administrator Tier 3 for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program in Panama City Beach, FL:
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite
- Integrate patches, and maintenance releases into current build scripts and documents
- Assist developing security patches (Windows and Red Hat Linux for Enterprise)
- Automating enclave builds (PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Jinja)
- Support of fielded systems
- Willingness to travel up to 5%
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors and five (5) years or more related experience; Masters and three (3) years related experience; four(4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2012 R2, or newer
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems (RHEL 7, or newer preferred)
- Familiarity with Type 1 Hypervisors (VMware ESXi preferred)
- The ability to create, test, and maintain code that perform a variety of tasks ranging from simple to complex.
- Strong familiarity with programing concepts: debugging, planning and design, control structures, data structures, loops, SDLC, syntax, and tools
Required Clearance:
US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required to begin work.
Required Certification:
CompTIA Security+ certification is required prior to first day of employment.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
