SAIC is looking for an entry level candidate to join the Corporate Controller's Costpoint Operations Department.  

Costpoint is the company's financial system, and members of this team play a key, critical role in ensuring the functional system configuration is accurate, complete, and ensures that various system processes and tasks execute on time and without error. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a candidate early in their career looking to learn how accounting and financial information is stored and consumed.

Under direct supervision, typical responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Review and update system settings each subperiod and period for posting and processing jobs
• Processing master data update requests
• Running SQL based monitoring tasks, and alerting management if there are unexpected results
• Resolving straightforward tickets logged by internal customers
• Assist in maintaining team calendar for recurring tasks and schedules
• Assist in creation and maintenance of DTP documentation
• There is a requirement for evening work approximately once every 3 weeks
• Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Maintaining master data in relation to accounts, organizations, account/org links, PAGs, pools and service centers
  • Support for special projects in order to meet business needs and deadlines
  • Support technical upgrades and special projects through testing and troubleshooting prior to application/deployment of system changes

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management from an accredited institution and 0 to 2 years of experience working in accounting, finance or finance systems environment
• 4+ years of experience considered in lieu of degree
• Proficient in MS Office tools, including Sharepoint, Teams, and certainly Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• This position requires US CItizenship

Preferred Experience:

• working knowledge of Costpoint and/or SQL
• excellent customer service
• good organizational skill with attention to detail and proven success in meeting deadlines

Target salary range: $45,001 - $55,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
