Description
SAIC is rapidly growing a System Integration team to deliver a new, complex space and ground system in support of National Security. This exciting and innovative program, located in Chantilly, VA, is leveraging best practices in system engineering, via Digital Engineering, MBSE, Agile software development, and DevSecOps processes and technology. This multi-year contract will require energetic engineers to define and integrate major space systems and associated ground elements from concept into an operational enterprise.
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator who will work with other system engineers to support the day-to-day operations of our internal networked systems. In this role, you will provide imited helpdesk support to a DevSecOps platform running in the Microsoft Azure cloud. This position is located in Chantilly, VA OR Aurora, CO and requires an active Top Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support Windows desktop environments and administer servers
- Create user accounts, and install and configure various applications.
- Perform system patching and hardening, run vulnerability scans and mitigate findings
- Performs server backup and restore
- Develop Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current TS clearance, TS/SCI preferred
EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of Linux server and basic Linux commands
- VMWare virtualization and AWS or Azure cloud experience
- DoD IAT level II certification, i.e. Security +, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
