Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst - OPNAV to join our team supporting NAVAIR in Patuxent River, MD.  The position will provide direct support to PMA 272. The duty station for this position will be Patuxent River, MD. All TDY travel (expected 1 trip per Quarter) will be CONUS and paid by the PMA. Local Travel to Pentagon is expected every two weeks and will be paid by the PMA.  Not to exceed 4 monthly. The following responsibilities apply to this role:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between PMA272 and N98 Resource Sponsor
  • Performs critical program management Analysis of PMA272 EW Programs of Records (PORs).
    • Provides program analysis support for PMA272 Leadership, Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leads and the OPNAV Aircraft Survivability equipment (ASE) N98 Resource Sponsor (RO).   
    • Tracks program/project status and schedules. 
    • Develops Capability Gap analysis metrics and supports the development of PMA272 Program Objective Memorandum (PM) documentation for annual submittal thru OPNAV.
  • Take direct tasking from N98 resource sponsor with coordination with PMA272 IPTs
  • Collect and analyze Program Office Program Data to support POM build
  • Utilize critical thinking to determine optimized Program execution and future EW requirements
  • Other potential meetings to attend include but are not limited to the following:
    • ASPE NARG (EW)
    • iASE Technical review and POM planning
    • Local travel to Pentagon (Not to exceed 4 times monthly)
    • PMRs

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of experience required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Understanding and the ability to execute tasks associated with NAVAIR’s Acquisition process
  • Prior Support for OPNAV Resource Sponsors
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge and application of critical thinking to solve problems
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Self-sufficient, motivated, and proactive
  • Ability to work independently with little guidance
  • Prior USN/USMC Service
  • Use of Collaborative Tools (ex. Microsoft Teams)
