SAIC has an opening for a self-motivated Test-Evaluation Systems Engineer Principal in San Diego, CA. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Provide T&E engineering management support for the coordination and management of PMW/A 170 T&E activities. Individual will assist APM T&E in developing T&E strategy and schedules, developing plans and documentation, and managing test events. The individual will provide testing management and support services for the development, acquisition, integration planning and upgrade or change for PMW/A 170 programs. This includes reviewing, updating, developing or providing assistance in the development of test-related acquisition documentation, such as test strategies, test and evaluation plans, schedules and plans, briefs, position papers, specifications and statements of work and other documentation necessary for program execution.






***This position REQUIRES U.S. citizenship and, at minimum, an interim DoD secret-level clearance. All candidates without an active clearance will be immediately disqualified.***

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors, engineering preferred from an accredited college or university and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. 

  • Nine years of experience relevant to T&E System Acquisition Engineer. 
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.    
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate successfully as part of a diverse team in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, outstanding initiative, aggressive problem-solving and task management skills as well as excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to encourage, inspire and participate in teamwork.

CLEARANCE: U.S. citizenship with an ACTIVE Secret security clearance.
