Description:
This Lead Piping Design Specialist will report to SAIC’s Energy, Environment & Infrastructure division of SAIC in Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Oil, Gas and Chemical’s Group. This designer will primarily be responsible for leading the design and CAD drafting effort for the design of oil refining, chemical, and petrochemical facilities. This designer will work closely with various project managers and discipline engineers to perform and coordinate design for projects assigned. This designer will provide oversight to the design work done by other designers throughout the division. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- 15+ years experience
- AutoCAD 2011 minimum is required
- Computer literacy including word and excel
- Ability to lead, direct and check direct the work of other designers
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in multiple contingency environment
Department Preference:
- Experience with CadWorX, Bentley AutoPlant 3D and IsoGen software are a plus
- FlexCAD piping and Iso Experience a plus
