Intelligence Analyst I (Job Number:302630)
Description:
Candidate will perform intelligence analysis activities related to nominating known or suspected terrorists to national terrorist watch lists. Major areas of responsibility are reviewing incoming data for watch listing-related information, authoring nominations, performing reviews of historical data where a potential discrepancy in watch listing records has been detected, and conducting special quality assurance projects, such as performing a review of a targeted area of interest. The candidate will use multiple government databases to perform substantive research and analysis in support of nominations and analytic assessments on Watch listing-related topics. The candidate may be called upon to support operational missions in support of national security objectives.
Qualifications:
Required: TS/SCI with appropriate polygraph. High School Diploma and 3 years of experience.
Required Skills: Proven ability to conduct research utilizing intelligence databases and collate disparate data. The candidate must be able to construct logical analytic arguments and have some familiarity with intelligence reporting.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Previous military experience, familiarity with Iraq and Afghanistan, and familiarity with US military intelligence reporting formats desirable preferable.
