SAIC in Huntsville, Alabama currently has multiple openings for Army Game Studio (AGS) software developers. The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Relocation assistance is not provided.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The select candidate for this position will become a member of the Army Game Studio’s software development team for “America's Army: The Official U.S. Army Game” as well as numerous military and scientific First-Person Shooter style training and simulation applications.
As a member of the AGS software development team you will be tasked to develop vehicles, weapons, characters, interfaces and other game related content utilizing Epic’s Unreal Engine 3, Unity 3 and Bohemia Interactive “Real Virtuality” development environments. In this position you will be a key member of an agile scrum development team working closely with fellow programmers, game designers and artists on the implementation of new features for existing and new First-person shooter (FPS) style games and games for training applications.
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, Game Development or related field with FPS style game or man-in-the-loop training software development experience.
