Description:
The Mission Support Business Unit is currently seeking a Medic for an upcoming proposal effort.
The individual will provide direct operational support at an overseas location in support of an OSD Low Intensity Conflict activity that develops and implements a focused counternarcotics program.
The individual will provide critical care paramedic level services. Will direct and coordinate medical activities for project personnel. Conduct medical training as required, and provides protection of on-site medical supplies and equipment. Monitors medical issues to ensure personnel are advised of current medical threat and advise appropriate action. Conduct facility inspections to evaluate site medical threats associated with, for example, drinking water, living conditions, food handling/storage, animal/insect threats and sanitary conditions to mitigate potential problems. The successful candidate demonstrates an ability to perform these duties.
Qualifications
:
Minimum of 5 years as a medic, paramedic, EMT or RN. Shall have current documented skill certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and US National Paramedic Registry. The successful candidate will also demonstrate an ability to train and mentor personnel.
