The Defense Solutions Group is current recruiting for a Senior Firewall Engineer to support a current project in Washington, DC.

Descriptions of Duties: This position is responsible for designing, engineering, troubleshooting, implementation, maintenance, problem identification and remediation, and on-going support of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) international network. Work as a lead mentor of the USCIS Firewall Team that designs and provide firewall support to a large MPLS network of users/servers.

This position will: provide engineering planning support for the USCIS WAN and the network security infrastructure; develop and /or validate designs for the USCIS WAN or LANs; troubleshoot network performance problems; developed security rules for firewalls; interface the DHS Firewall and other Government and commercial firewall teams ; problem identification; and problem remediation. The engineer will be responsible for various firewall activities such as set up and configuration, migrations, code upgrades, as well as provide support for IT security tools. The firewall engineer should be very proficient with Cisco and other vendor firewalls.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education / Experience / Certification: Bachelor of Science in Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, other bachelor degrees. Ten years experience in lieu of degree for an exceptional candidate at the discretion of the task lead. Minimum seven years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting large WANs and LANs, of which at least five years of experience designing and securing large WANs (over 100 sites).

Possesses strong analytical skills, be able to identify and resolve complex problems and issues arising from data communications and networking. Must have good interpersonal and communications skills in dealing with multiple contractor and government organizations. Understanding of: common circuit types; Cisco firewalls; routers and switches; Cisco ASA firewalls; and network management and monitoring tools U.S. citizenship required in order to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills: Cisco certifications, firewall certifications, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills and experience in enterprise environment.

The Senior Program Budget Analyst provides on-site programmatic budget support to the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Nuclear Weapon Stockpile. This requires coordinating with program budget analysts to draft cogent and consolidated budget documentation and program budget briefings as well as draft work authorizations and approved funding program documentation. The Senior Budget Analyst must understand and be able to credibly explain the drivers for budget changes and priorities and respond quickly to real and posited work scope changes, variances, and funding levels with accurate analysis and documentation.

This position requires regular interaction with Federal Weapon Program Managers and Federal and contractor budget analysts to elicit pertinent data and meet critical deadlines and formulate timely responses to senior management and integration office queries.

The Homeland & Civilian Solutions Business Unit currently has an opening for a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator. This position will be located in Washington, DC.

Performs complex database administration assignments essential to the Operations and Maintenance of Oracle database management systems (DBMS) applications. Assignments, which are in direct support of software development and maintenance teams, include database analysis, security support, and performance monitoring and tuning. Reviews and ensures integrity via standardized support tools. Ensures that assignments are performed in accordance with database administration guidelines, standards and procedures for applications O&M support, development, implementation, testing, and migration. Responds to complex customer-reported systems problems. Evaluates and recommends use of software, guidelines, and procedures. Provides DBMS expertise to other groups as requested. Works on extremely complex problems. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel. Regularly interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers. Design and implement an Enterprise support environment for multiple Oracle servers utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
Additional duties include:
- Maintaining multiple databases with different Oracle versions on Unix operating systems
• Performing Oracle Database administration tasks including installation, upgrades, patches, configuration, backup, and recovery
• Providing 24/7 Oracle database O&M support
• Performing database performance analysis and tuning
• Providing database support to the testing and the development teams upon request
• Support oracle database migration between multiple datacenters
• Must know Oracle 11g R2, RAC, and RMAN

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 9 years of professional experience or 13 years of experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 10 years working with Oracle. Experience with Oracle 11g/10g/9i/8i in Solaris/AIX/Linux environment. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Must be U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust Suitability clearance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The DX Enclave (DXE) Program is a Community-of-Common-Concerns program which provides a Common Analyst Platform, based on the DoDIIS Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Web-Oriented Architecture (WOA) framework, to enhance analysis and targeting efforts. The program is instituted at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in the DX Fusion Cell (DIA/DXI-3c) whose primary goal is to locate any individual, anywhere in the world, at any time. The program is multi-year funded with a recent new contract award.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

- Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: python, java, javascript, C#, ruby, php.

- Experience with back-end/server side systems such as LAMP, Tomcat, Sharepoint.
