The intent of this requisition is to fill a direct position working with a team of SAIC and government engineers providing software development and integration expertise of Army Soldier and Soldier support systems.  A developer with 7-10yrs of experience is desired, we will not however rule out less seasoned developers demonstrating the correct skill set.<br/><br/>The engineer must be adept at understanding/deriving customer requirements and developing software designs/solutions. Knowledge of LINUX/Android Kernel libraries and procedures for modifying the libraries is also strongly desired.  Expertise with thread and memory management, allowing performance optimization in more constrained handheld computing operating environments is essential.  The last critical item required for qualification is a strong configuration management background.
