This activity shall involve the study of treaty documents and boundary studies and the acquisition and analysis of boundary source maps as to suitability and proper boundary alignment.  This shall include registering source material, applying proper attribution, creation of metadata and digitizing boundaries as specified.  This may include stereo extraction.  This process involves searching for geodetically accurate base sources, accurate boundary source information, and exploiting various GIS packages to produce digital boundary information.  A technical document explaining extraction and analytical processes employed will be written for each boundary.  The information will be incorporated into the DIBDB.  Final boundary approval will be coordinated through the NGA Geographer and the Department of State (DoS).  The purpose of the work is to build an accurate digital boundary database that will be the definitive source of all boundaries for the DoS and other government agencies.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications:</b><br/><br/> TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences (or related field) and/or equivalent formal military training and 4+ years of related experience.
