The mission of the ASTSS Program is to plan, manage and conduct Functional, Regression and Integration testing in accordance with VA processes, PMAS and ProPath. The Test Engineer will perform testing to validate that that all requirements are met for the product release under test. The VA Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) Product Assessment Competency Division (PACD) is responsible for testing active products that include mainframe, multi-tier Graphical-User-Interface (GUI) and web applications.<br/><br/>The Federal Health Operation team will be supporting the PACD as the primary office responsible for sustaining applications after they are developed and placed into production. PACD will perform product development required to correct defects, adapt to changes occurring in the operating environment in which the application resides, change the architecture of the Product solution, and implement change requests that support business and congressional requirements. One or more Product modifications are bundled into a planned Product release version, also called a build, which requires testing.
