Job Description:

The Arabic Translator-Interpreter will provide linguist services for the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA) in Pensacola, Florida, in support of the Security Cooperation Education Training Program (SCETP)/Security Assistance Training Program (SATP).

Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Modern Standard Arabic at the 3/3 level as defined by the U.S. Defense Language Institute (DLI). Must also be proficient in the operation of electronic equipment necessary to conduct translation in real time, as well as be proficient in translating technical subjects in the fields of aeronautics, seamanship, engineering, education, psychology, and training.

The Arabic Translator-Interpreter will perform a variety of technical language services. The individual filling this position will translate, interpret and assess both oral and written material and provide information and reports in both oral and written form. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Translation and interpretation work will include a diverse technical scope with complexity in language and thought. Provides basic analysis of data to identify and report any issues identified. Provides translation and interpretations of conversations, reports, data, and briefings that are clear and accurate. Will frequently interact with customers and subject matter experts. The Arabic Translator-Interpreter will execute their duties with limited supervision and direction.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 3+ years of related experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is for a Persian Farsi or Arabic or Hebrew Language Instructor to be located at Ft. Gordon, GA . Instructors will conduct classroom, laboratory, local immersion, and specialized foreign language instruction for general proficiency and specific mission-related language skills. Instructors will provide language instruction in the all four language modalities – listening, speaking, reading, and writing – up to an ILR level 3 equivalent. Instruction shall be delivered to military forces of varying linguistic abilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructors will use the core teaching materials provided and be able to prepare supplemental material to support the core curriculum. Instructors will assist in tracking and providing reports on student training. This may include preparing, administering, grading, and providing formative feedback on homework, quizzes, tests, and exams and maintaining records of this data for each student. Instructors will also report on the use of online training materials that are available through technology enhanced environments.

CLEARANCE: Minimum Final Secret

POSITION SUMMARY: The contractor shall conduct Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) gathering, while deployed to JSOTF-TS Area of Responsibility defined as (Algeria, Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, and Chad). Analyst will utilize the following media to conduct collection; print, internet (but not JIHADIST websites), radio, television and local populace. Analyst will also conduct interpretation during priority US engagements with Partner Nations. OSINT will be transmitted to JSOTF-TS J2 for final processing and exploitation. Analyst will work within US Embassy environment while in Africa. The analyst may travel with JSOTF-TS tactical units to supply immediate force protection through knowledge of local language and culture.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Open Source Intelligence Analyst The contractor shall provide Open Source Intelligence Analysis and linguist support. Analysts may be deployed for a six-month period within selected countries OEF-TS AOR Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, and Niger. These Open Source Analysts shall support missions of JSOTF persistent elements based primarily within U.S. Embassies that are conducted at the Secret level. Analysts shall be responsible for supporting JSOTF-TS OSINT requirements and providing language expertise/interpretation within the country of assignment in support of CT activities. The Open Source Intelligence Analysts shall support missions of persistent and episodic SOF within the OEF-TS AOR. The contractor personnel shall support the JSOTF and operate within their jurisdiction, abide by appropriate regulations/directives, overall framework of statutes, executive orders, NSC, DCI, and DoD policy. Contractor personnel shall be familiar with common Microsoft office software such as word and power point as these tools are needed in support of tasks associated with the JSOTF-TS objectives and program goals. Contractor personnel are required to generate comprehensive written products in English resulting from analysis of interpretation and translation (reports, summaries, memos, briefings, etc.) requirements including extensive research on unclassified systems to acquire data; and preparing intelligence updates to support OEF-TS. The contractor shall provide both translation and interpretation to Military Information Support Teams, Civil Military Support Teams, Joint Planning and Assistance Team, Special Operations Command and Control Element, Key Leader Engagements, and MEDCAP/VETCAP operations.

• At least 3 years translating documents, conversations and media into English
• At least 3 years interpreting during meetings, training, and special operations
• At least two years working on the continent of Africa in target areas.
• At least 3 years in supporting tactical and operational environments.
• Minimum of 3 years writing reports and information papers to support OSINT collection

JOB TITLE: Strategic Communications Analyst.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS A CURRENT TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop and apply advanced methodological approaches to analysis of strategic communications for Intelligence Community customers. Provide research and analysis to support intelligence organizations. Support development and analysis of intelligence products. Assist in development of collection plans and evaluate effectiveness. Work on complex problems. Provide research and analysis to support daily requirements. Present analysis and/or products to customers. Assist in developing and recommending measures of effectiveness objectives for mission support. Recommend methods and procedures to be used on new assignments and provide guidance and training to other personnel. Frequently interact with customers and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in social science, business, communications, statistics or related field OR years relevant experience in military information support operations, formally known as psychological operations, (MISO, PSYOP) or information operations (IO), public diplomacy, or commercial marketing. Master's degree preferred.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Candidates must possess strong written and oral English, demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical ability and solid interpersonal skills. Candidates must be able to work under tight deadlines. Candidates must be able to perform job requirements independently and in team environments and must have ability to interface with all levels of management. Familiarity with marketing techniques, statistics, and experience with standard intelligence databases and systems and procedures. Candidate must have ability to conduct online media research, retrieval and integration of all-source data from various sources including classified sites, unclassified sites, and finished intelligence. Must possess a Top Secret SCI security clearance with polygraph.

DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in applying methodologically rigorous solutions to challenging strategic communications problem sets. Experience in commercial marketing, advertising, social media analysis, traditional media analysis or communication theory. Applicable Intelligence Community experience. Arabic language proficiency and foreign area knowledge, particularly Middle East and North Africa, gained through study, travel or work abroad is desired. Knowledge of SPSS computer program used for survey authoring and deployment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of a DS Special Agent, the CI support specialist provides vetting-related services. Major duties and responsibilities include:
• Conducts vetting procedures on host country nationals or on U.S. Legal Permanent Residents who seek employment on Chief of Mission facilities or who are hired into a position that allows them knowledge of Chief of Mission operations.
• Interviews local national or U.S. Legal Permanent Residents applicants for suitability and eligibility for security certifications and produces timely written reports and assessments.
• Conducts electronic record checks in support of vetting investigations on classified and unclassified databases including those involving U.S. Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs).
• In addition to routine caseload, conducts supplemental interviews as requested by a DS agent or vetting specialist to resolve CI/CT-related issues and information arising in the vetting process.
• Provides direct support to the Regional Security Office (RSO) as appropriate, and for other CI-related investigations.
- Personnel will be equipped to travel to and may operate from multiple fixed sites within an assigned area of operations in accordance with RSO procedures, but will not conduct interviews outside of secure areas.
• Provide administrative support related to specific areas of assignment.

- Report Personnel Status (PERSTAT) to relevant authorities; Utilizing CI/HUMINT reporting and communications equipment; using interpreters and managing interpreter operations; conducting analysis and performing briefings as required

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences (or related field) and/or equivalent formal military training and 4+ years of related experience. Requires TS/SCI security clearance with special accesses.

Requirements include:
• Four years experience as trained counterintelligence agent. Such experienced may be gained through former service in the following Department of Defense Military Occupational Specialties or their civilian equivalents: 35L (Counterintelligence Agent), 35M (Human Intelligence Collector), 351L (Counterintelligence Technician), 351M (Human Intelligence Collection Technician).
• Must be knowledgeable of Department of Defense counterintelligence procedures, data processing systems such as CHIMs, and SIPRNET search engines and database retrieval tools such as QueryTree and M3. Knowledge of State Department vetting procedures is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Arabic language and culture is strongly desired.
• United States citizen eligible for appropriate security clearance.
• Knowledge of host country culture, traditions, and customs is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a high-threat environment and experience with U.S. Department of State security operations are strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups from various levels and backgrounds.
• Must be in good physical condition with no health deficiencies, either temporary or long-lasting, that would impair performance of duties.
