Responsibilities

- Conduct electronic and electromechanical troubleshooting to the component level with the aid of schematics, wiring diagrams and TMDE

- Isolate, remove and replace defective Line-Replaceable Units (LRU) and perform calibration as required to return systems to full operational capability with minimum downtime

- Perform annual and semi-annual services on system components including X-Ray tubes, generators and engines as required to ensure operational readiness

- Perform Operations checks, cleaning, lubrication and minor system repairs as part of routine PMCS using authorized tools, manuals and test equipment

- Ensure prompt and accurate data entry to the approved Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action (FRACAS) database for all maintenance actions completed in theater

Candidate will perform installation and sustainment tasks in support of SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic's Joint Battle Command-Platform Family of Systems (JPC-P FoS) Integrated Product Team (IPT).

He/She will support site surveys and install/de-install efforts as part of the IPT's overall Material Fielding Plan. Candidate will perform half-rack pre-assembly and operational checks to ensure that forward stocks of half-racks are available as needed to support emergent installation requirements. He/She will respond to all data calls and utilize all IPT tools and resources, including but not limited to the IPT calendar, CMPRO, NSERC and DCO.

Candidate will be required attend teleconferences and meetings, and may also be required to prepare presentations and other required documentation, as needed, to report status to project leadership and government personnel.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
All candidates must be available for and willing to travel domestically (CONUS), up to 10% annually and for durations of up to 2 weeks at a time.

Candidates interested in an international assignment must be able to obtain/maintain a US Passport, pass DoD medical and dental evaluations, complete deployment processing and must also be willing to deploy to high-risk travel locations, including active war zones, at intervals of at least eight months at a time.

•Eight years related experience on DoD intelligence systems including full lifecycle software development to include requirements analysis, software design, and system development, software maintenance in time sensitive, signals analysis, or scientific computing, developing system and subsystem preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and system integration and testing for all software applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Three years’ experience in system-level programming in the UNIX or Windows operating systems and programming experience with software languages, such as C, C++, and other related software applications.
