GFE Project Administrator

This position is responsible for the proper receipt, inspection, staging, handling, accountability distribution and shipping of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) received in support of the BSM-Energy program. The GFE Project Administrator will be responsible for adequate security measures for on hand assets and maintaining an adequate supply of tools and material for DoD System Integration Specialist to perform their duties. Strict accountability practices will be enforced. Will create invoices for shipping new and replacement equipment or other miscellaneous equipment in support of Varec. This position is located at Varec Inc. Norcross Georgia

Duties include but not limited to:

- Conducts daily inventories of all GFE; this includes the weekly and monthly contractual inventory reporting.

- Conducts configuration and the quality control of FuelsManager Database(s) as related to Development and shipped GFE

- Conducts the proper disposal and equipment turn in process as it relates to all government furnished equipment to include DRMO turn in process and procedures

- Provide shipping management as point of contact for DHL, FedEx and UPS. Reviews invoices of the charges for accounting and provides shipping oversight with issues related to Base Level Support Agreement shipments to the BSM-E customers

- Maintains and supplies DESC approved images of the Operating Systems deployed to the field and maintains the master copies of all base level support software

- Provides additional configuration support to the Deployment effort which includes imaging systems, installing the base level applications, post configuration items, site configuration verification/validation and post configuration security scans prior to asset shipments.

- Work directly with BMC Service Desk Express to properly track, document and complete support incident tickets.

- Follow up directly with all customers both internal and external for verification that equipment is received and properly accounted for in FASTracker and other reporting systems

- Providing assistance to internal customers with timely updates on order delivery, transportation estimations, proactive status communication and adherence to contract agreements.

- Resolving problems concerning transportation, logistic systems and customers’ issues.

- Coordinate logistics functions including, stock control, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, return, reuse or final disposal of resources.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer support, or related fields involving interaction with people.

- Shipping and receiving experience

- Excellent communications skills required

- Experience with BMC Ticketing software

- Government Security Clearance

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds minimum

This position will direct, coordinate and be responsible for the total inventory of raw material, finished goods, manufactured and purchased parts, engineering materials, consumables, packaging supplies, shipping materials, documents, and other materials for Swift Ships Yard. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Developmental Therapeutics Program's primary emphasis is on drug discovery and characterization, identification of new therapeutic molecular targets and participation in the evaluation of samples and results from animal models with a goal of identifying drugs with potential therapeutic value.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Research Technician will be responsible for sterile tissue culture related duties (e.g., routine cell culture, preparation of cells for injection into animals or into hollow fibers and, freezing cell stocks, etc.). Will assist in the hollow fiber assay by assisting in the preparation of hollow fibers for injection into animals and following removal from animals, the multiple steps involved in cell viability determination. Will work with rodent derived materials and may be called upon to assist with rodent related work. Will aide in any other routine tasks as needed (e.g. label preparation, shipping samples, stocking the lab etc). Routine duties are performed independently and are subject to standard quality control checks. This is not a shower-in facility.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Possession of Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in a field related to biomedical research or four (4) years related experience in lieu of degree.
- Foreign Degrees must be evaluated for US equivalency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (including but not limited to)

All day-to-day tasks associated with the inventory management, receipt and issue functions at a 2-shift plus Saturday (Emergency Buys Only) operation at the Pentagon for facility maintenance support items such as electrical products and equipment, plumbing supplies and equipment, sheet rock, wood and wood products, hazardous material, non-hazardous material and related equipment. Must have forklift and pallet jack experience to be considered.

- The person will be receiving, inspecting, labeling, order taking, inventory, cycle counting, picking and packing products. Candidate will also provide pricing quotes to customers and coordinate product staging to fill customer orders
- Responsible for order entry and review of minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent stock outage or critical low inventory situations.
- Coordinate with Suppliers, Customers and SAIC Staff in meeting the customer’s production and maintenance requirements. Anticipate seasonal product surge requirements
- Responsible cycle counting of products and accurate inventory accounting to include submission of discrepancy reports for damage, short shipments or over shipments
- Responsible for stocking products into correct locations
- Responsible for order entry and file management between SAIC’s legacy operations system and Pentagon’s MAXIMO system in support of operations.
- Responsible for performing internal processing audits as delegated by management.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Military logistics experience a plus. Customer service experience required.
- Industrial product knowledge a MUST; Retail experience a PLUS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics and warehouse management, inventory and cycle counting experience a plus
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to pass a security screening for building access
- Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must be able to obtain a Forklift License certification for standard 5,000 pounds forklift. Reach Forklift experience a plus.
- Basic computer and data entry experience.
- Prior Military preferred, including prior military direct-support experience

Position Description:

The Insurance and Risk Manager is an important member of the Corporate Treasury Department, responsible for designing and implementing risk management processes, primarily through placing and managing a variety of insurance programs, to minimize the impact of risk to the enterprise. SAIC’s Advanced Communication Systems (ACS) Group has an immediate, full-time, position available for an audio visual (AV) technician. Candidates shall possess at least 1 year of AV industry experience derived from the installation of AV systems. Ideally, this past experience would be with AV presentation, visualization, multimedia, video conferencing, video walls, and control systems.

This position requires a basic understanding of AV signal flow, AV signal types, as well as the operation and functional purpose of AV equipment. AV installation tasks will be assigned that may involve soldering, cable terminations, projector/flat panel installation, cable installation, and other typical system installation tasks.

Experience working with AV system flow diagrams, rack elevations, and other construction or blue print drawings is desired. Technicians may be tasked with product research or assisting system designers on change orders, proposals, or other general support tasks.

InfoComm CTS certification is a plus, but not required. The successful candidate will be expected to attain the CTS credential within one year of joining SAIC.

Understanding the macro, micro, political, technical, and competitive aspects of these industries are essential for the development, updating, effecting, and communicating the company’s investment story in these areas and on a consolidated basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee the production and delivery of investor communications (press release, SEC filings, earnings calls, investor days, roadshows, etc.)

- Provide transparent an timely and effective communication to the investor base on the company’s strategic direction, important milestones, and major company and industry developments

- Provide competitor analysis (financial performance, strategy, event monitoring, etc.) and use to contribute to the company’s evolving strategic and tactical activities

- Ensure major industry and competitive developments are “front and center” with the executive team for appropriate consideration and action Insure adherence to Fair Disclosure regulations across the Enterprise with regards to information dissemination

- Review all other enterprise communications to ensure consistent with investor themes, expectations, and FD considerations

- Manage relationships with sell-side and buy-side analysts, stock exchange representatives, and technology and event suppliers

- Provide counsel to executive management on potential impact of actions such as stock repurchases, dividends, M&A

- Partner with executive team and colleagues to maximize employee engagement through timely and insightful employee events and mediums on the financial performance of the enterprise, relative performance to competitors, major investor concerns and feedback, etc.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Develop, maintain and communicate the investment thesis/story

- Create communication materials (press releases, earnings call scripts, road show presentations, etc.)

- Oversee maintenance of investor relationship management system

- Enterprise POC for the investment community

- Organize and execute IR events (conferences, road shows, earnings calls, and investor meetings)

- Provide feedback to management regarding investor sentiment and commentary.

- Operate the investor relations function on budget

- Delivery of investor relations reports to executive management and the BOD

- Delivery of investor relations material to employees on a period basis

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field is required. Prefer MBA in Finance.

- Must have 12-15 years of investor relations or other related business experience. Prefer experience in the government contracting and information technology industry.

- Must possess knowledge of the financial and securities industry; knowledge of database management; presentation and interpersonal skills must be honed to positively interact with the investor community; must have verbal and written communication skills to present a polished company image in all dealings with the public.

- Must have excellent command of understanding financial statements, financial performance ratios, equity and credit market dynamics, and corporate governance processes.

Responsibilities also include collection of hair, fecal and blood samples for diagnostic testing. New assignments are normally accompanied by detailed instructions, and completed work is checked for accuracy and compliance to established standards. Work may involve the use of potentially hazardous material, including biological and chemical carcinogen or radiological materials or may be located in areas where such materials are used. Work will require the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to strict safety protocols. Personnel are required to change into dedicated facility shoes and clothing before entering the facility.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Completion of eighth grade.
- One (1) year of job-related animal care experience and ALAT certification –or- two (2) years laboratory animal care experience with high school diploma.
- Ability to handle a variety of laboratory animals, keep simple records, operate automatic washing and cleaning equipment.
- Lift up to 40-50 lbs., and wear respiratory protective equipment if necessary.
- Knowledge of routine tasks associated with general laboratory animal care.
- This position is subject to obtaining a Public Trust Clearance.
