The individual ensures accountability for class attendance or other official appointments on a daily basis.<br/><br/>Responsibilities:<br/><br/>-  Establishes and conducts incoming, outgoing, and student entry briefings<br/>-  Performs counseling, rehabilitation and training and retraining to ensure students understand that learning English is the priority<br/>-  Conducts individual and group interviews<br/>-  Motivates personnel to develop military attitudes, effective human relations, and social skills for improving interpersonal and military relations<br/>-  Establishes and maintains liaison with the Academics Division in order to keep up to date on student activities<br/>-  Identifies student status such as problem or exceptional students<br/>-  Applies counseling techniques and military experience to counsel student with training, military bearing, and behavior problems<br/>-  Plans and organizes phases of training, student flow, and flight assignments, consistent with available facilities<br/>-  Inspects and evaluates military training activities, personnel, and facilities<br/>-  Evaluates personnel undergoing military training, to include performance and adaptability<br/>-  Counsels and advises individuals on training problems; identifies non-prior service personnel unfit or unsuitable for retention in training<br/>-  Prepares and maintains files and records pertinent to basic and initial military training<br/>-  Prepares reports and records about student accountability<br/>-  Maintains completed training record files for historical review<br/>-  Instructs indoor and outdoor military training subjects using demonstration-performance and lecture methods; uses film projection equipment in support of training objectives<br/>-  Provides remedial training, as needed for non-prior service personnel undergoing this military training<br/><br/><b>Qualifications:</b><br/>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<br/><br/>-  Associates degree and 4 years minimum experience as a military training instructor required, Bachelor's degree preferred<br/>-  Strong and knowledge of principles, techniques, and methods of instruction; use of visual aids; learning processes; curriculum development; training evaluation; and counseling methods and techniques<br/>-  Must have a valid U.S. driver&#8217;s license and be able to operate a vehicle<br/><br/><b>SAIC Overview:</b><br/><br/>SAIC is a FORTUNE 500&reg; scientific, engineering, and technology applications company that uses its deep domain knowledge to solve problems of vital importance to the nation and the world, in national security, energy and the environment, critical infrastructure, and health.
