Job Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals providing mission engineering and technical services in areas of IT research, software development & integration, high performance computing, desktop services; cyber security; and central hosting computing. The candidate will work closely with the government Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR), government technical leadership, and SAIC operational leadership. The PM duties will include managing all aspects of a major program segment as part of the contract management team; meeting technical, schedule and financial requirements; recruiting, and supervising personnel; risk management; and serving as a direct liaison between the SAIC technical team and the customer.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Eight (8) years of management experience overseeing IT programs for a large federal agency.

Areas of technical expertise to include: IT research, software development & integration, high performance computing, desktop services; cyber security; and/or central hosting computing.

Proven experience managing a $ 5 M a year program, with up to 10 people. Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate. Strong facilitation expertise with experience and comfort with managing project groups through complex concepts/issues. Experience working with stakeholders at various levels and functional areas. Strong writing and presentation development skills, with an ability to produce high-quality deliverables created through collaboration. Excellent analytical skills to uncover root causes to issues.

Experience providing executive level briefings to share results or accomplishments. Experience developing metrics to measure success of process improvement initiatives. Candidate must be local to Albuquerque, NM area, or relocate to Albuquerque area.

Desired Qualifications: ITIL certification. Department of Energy National Laboratory experience highly desirable.

Security clearance requirement: An active Department of Energy (DoE) Q Clearance or Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret is required.

The Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group of SAIC is actively recruiting Software Engineering professionals to support programs throughout the United States.

The Sr Software Engineer will work with the technical staff and architects to provide full life cycle software development on mission critical IT programs. The Sr Software Engineer will provide strategic technical direction and manage the efforts of other Software Engineers to ensure system performance requirements are met.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Will perform analysis, design, development and testing of new web applications (widgets) using agile and test driven development methodologies.

-Will be required to perform as application subject matter expert on efforts requiring coordination with other external teams as well as provide senior level architectural guidance.

-Will work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors. Will be required to develop detailed design and associated deliverables.

- Will be required to develop sound application software with few to no defects. -

-Must be able to translate customer and system requirements into design.

-Must be able to design new system interfaces.

-Will participate in all phases of the project lifecycle and integration engineering and testing with other corporate systems and components.

- Will be required to develop custom code and may be required to integrate commercial off the shelf tools and technologies.

-Will be required to provide appropriate documentation, conduct and participate in peer reviews, and perform formal unit testing, and some level of integration testing.

Security clearance requirements range from active Secret to TS/SCI with poly.

Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 8+years experience. Advanced degree in related technical field desired. Experience in project management typically required.

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides day-to-day maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems, workstations, servers, and network devices. Schedules and performs software installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established policies and procedures. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Qualifications:
Basic/Required Qualifications

Must be familiar with VPN, DAPE, and routing protocols and technologies such as IPv4/IPv6, DNS, and Web Proxies. Familiar with e-mail and messaging protocols and technologies such as Exchange, Blackberry, anti-spam, anti-virus, SMTP, and OWA. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a directly related field (e.g., Information Systems, Information Technology) and 3+ years of related experience. 4 years of directly experience will substitute in lieu of degree. Certifications: IAT Level II – (GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

Direct experience with DoD and Army specific messaging and e-mail technologies such as CAC-enabled access. Specific experience with Army LWN and TLA architecture. Expertise with CND-related technologies and devices such as IDS/IPS/HIDs, SIM, signature maintenance, and incident response support. Expertise in one or more areas of Microsoft, Unix/Linux, SAN, VMWare, and Infrastructure Support.
