We are seeking a Electric Transmission Engineer who will work as a member of a dynamic team working in a fast paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission.

The successful candidate will serve as an engineer on electric transmission design projects for high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead and underground utility systems. He/she will apply NESC, NEC, ASCE and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead and underground systems, voltage conversion projects, underground conversion projects, new capacity projects and infrastructure replacement projects. Additionally, he/she will assist the team as well as independently perform: engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, plans and specifications;as well as prepare material procurement and construction documents, and work with project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management.

Qualifications:
§ 4+ years of relevant experience in the design of electric utility transmission systems

We are seeking a Substation Project Electrical Engineer who will work as a member of a dynamic team and working in a fast paced environment, and solving challenging substation engineering problems. In the project engineering role the qualified individual will require a combination of strong engineering and interpersonal skills and high attention to detail with a passion for quality. The position will include reporting to project managers and directing design engineers and CADD/designer staff and performing design quality reviews. Additionally, the candidate may be responsible for interfacing directly with clients and other staff in remote office locations. Assignments cover the full range of project planning through design and construction support. Design work may range from Protection and Control schemes at 12.5kV through 500kV to Smart Grid and substation communications projects.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

The successful candidate will apply a diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices as applied to substation engineering, design, and operation in the electric utility industry. Job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Act as lead engineer on projects
• Prepare equipment specifications, analyzes bids, makes recommendations for purchase
• Apply standards including the NESC, IEEE, IEC, and is familiar with design guides such as the RUS Bulletin 1742E-200
• Familiar with state and federal safety, regulatory compliance requirements, and construction codes
• Prepare project analysis, budgets, schedules, and plans
• Prepares construction and procurement documents
• Supports construction and substation and equipment commissioning
• Act a resource and mentor to other engineering staff

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate their capability to perform the job functions with a combination of the following educations, experience, knowledge, and skills. These include:
§ BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution; a MS is desired
§ Professional Engineer’s license preferred
§ 8+ of experience related to the engineering and design of utility transmission and distributions substations to 345 kV
§ Electrical and civil engineering principals and practices as applied in the electric utility environment and the ability to analyze,

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Cyber Security Specialist who will be able to readily adapt to varied client environments, with responsibilities ranging from broad network security program development to deployment and implementation of broad ranging technical security controls. Responsibilities:

- Consult with customers on security requirements in the areas of nuclear cyber security under 10 CFR 73.53 and NEI 08-09
