SAIC's Information Analytics Technology Division currently has a full-time assignment for a Data Engineer/Analyst with time divided between our SAIC site location and Camp HM Smith MCB in Honolulu, HI.

Join a motivated team of developers, scientists, network engineers and analysts working together to support high priority missions.

Successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and quickly learn new languages, databases, and applications as necessary to address critical technical problems.

Candidate must be able to conceptualize, define, and develop complex data architecture solutions for distributed, multi-level security applications with support from senior engineers/data architects.

Candidate will be required to perform all aspects of ETL in a uniquely collaborative inter-agency environment where critical missions depend on timely processing of large and diverse datasets.

Candidate will work directly with analysts to model data for dozens of end user applications designed to support social network analysis, pattern of life analysis, geospatial analysis, and more. Qualifications:
Required Skills:

-Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent) and 8+ years of related experience.

-Must have a current active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

The Mission System Integration Operations of SAIC is currently seeking a Scientific Visualization Lead for our Kihei, Hi location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the Visualization hardware and software architecture environment and managing the visualization capabilities to include the Visualization Theater of our customer.

The Scientific Visualization Lead will support the scientific visualization needs of the our clients by providing systems engineering and integration support for graphics hardware and software; development of graphics software products to address the analytical needs of users and clients; utilization of COTS visualization SW to create visual representations of scientific data and results; software systems integration, verification and validation; research into software development methods for Graphics Processing Units (GPU’s); technical planning; and test plan development and execution.

Responsibilities include development of the visualization architecture and software solutions in support of scientific data modeling for research projects across a broad array of disciplines. Specific duties include but not limited to: visualization software development, visualization software code modification and customization to support unique research needs and visualization effects, the identification and selection of visualization software for implementation on computing systems, assessment of candidate visualization architectures that will impact future visualization and graphics technology implementations, and the management and integration of the Visualization Theater.

When evaluating multiple visualization concepts for a project, the Scientific Visualization Lead will provide modeling recommendations by prototyping the recommended approaches and reviewing them with our clients. The Visualization Lead will also be responsible for maintaining an awareness of the state-of–the-art for high-speed visualization and graphics architectures and will make recommendations to management for the acquisition of hardware and software to be deployed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 8+ years experience. Advanced degree in related technical field desired.

Successful candidate must have a complete knowledge of scientific visualization to include hardware rendering accelerators and be able to adapt to new requirements and a variety of data sources and formats to complete complex assignments using visualization software such as EnSight.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Telecommunications Control Office Specialist will provide support for fixed and wireless voice services, dedicated transmission services, and cable television services. This position requires a knowledgeable individual capable of providing inventory management, usage validation, and to maintain a customer database tracking equipment type, location, and status. In addition, this person should have a basic understanding of the following:

(1) OSI Layer 1, inside and outside plant standards and practices,

(2) Communication Security (COMSEC);

(3) fiber connectivity for the installation and testing of single mode and multi-mode

fiber;

(4) Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) configurations and applications; and

(5) spectrum management. Specific tasking for this position includes the following:

- Trouble shoot lines, circuit installations and telephone connections.

- Trouble shoot key systems and PBXs.

- Support fixed voice Move/Add/Change (MAC) requests.

- Provide project coordination for telephone related services – includes

customer, vendor, and inter/intra Government coordination.

Program Administration

- Work closely with the Hawaii Energy Transformation Operations Manager and Business Manager and SAIC procurement to negotiate and execute subcontracts that are in compliance with all SAIC corporate, procurement, management and contractual requirements.

- Work with Hawaii Energy Transformation Operations Manager to ensure all subcontracts and changes in project scope are reflected in task orders that are executed in a timely fashion.

- Work with the Hawaii Energy business administration team for the purpose of managing accounting, budget, invoicing and administrative and operational details for all transformational program activities.

Program Process Improvement

- Analyze existing Transformational program processes, with a particular emphasis on contract administration, procurement, project and task management. Coordinate with program’s business administration team and planning functions and other program stakeholders as necessary.

- Work with key stakeholders to define and document Transformational program processes, design system requirements and develop task tracking tools that will address all stakeholder requirements.

General Support

- Participate in program outreach and training events in support of program initiatives, as required. Other duties as assigned.

- Directly market Program offerings to the commercial, industrial and governmental sectors typically comprised of building owners, businesses and organizations;

- Seek out prospects independently and by collaborating with trade allies and electric utility representatives; Initiate discussions with customers on energy saving opportunities (both measures and practices);

- Help customers with limited funds select the most cost-effective measures to implement;

- Help determine whether trade ally or Hawaii Energy should take lead role;

- In the case of customized energy efficiency projects, identify and evaluate project viability by quantifying potential kW, kWh and dollar savings (cost-effectiveness) to determine whether the Program should pursue;

- Maintain a current forecast of energy efficiency projects, including project volume, potential energy savings and other performance metrics, as directed;

Process incentive applications:

- Provide first level review of incentive application paperwork for proposed energy efficiency projects;

- Evaluate if project characteristics and documentation meet program requirements;

- Work with customers to satisfy all incentive application requirements; develop project folders (physically and digitally);

- Perform data entry to formally submit applications to the Program.

Perform pre and post implementation inspections:

- Gather customer, site and technical information prior to site visits;

- Conduct inspections;

- Evaluate and document inspections in formal reports;

- Seek support from Program staff as needed (i.e. when not experienced in measure being inspected).

Conduct Program outreach:

- Leverage trade show and community event opportunities to enhance Program awareness and participation;

- Deliver presentations and represent the Program at public events;

Deliver Program reporting:

The Mission System Integration Operation’s of SAIC is currently seeking an Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for our Kihei, Hi location.

The successful candidate will be part of the Industrial Security team receiving oversight by the Facility Security Officer (FSO). The IAM will work closely with members of the Operations Staff in the management and monitoring of all computer systems and networks and will be cognizant of all computer software and hardware modifications.

The IAM will utilize DoD 5200.28 and appropriate network directives/ regulations for performance of information assurance (IA) and industrial security mission responsibilities in such areas as certification and accreditation (C&A), configuration management (CM), secure system audits, and password management.

The IAM will track and ensure resolution of all IA security incidents and will control access to computing resources for any user suspected of attempting or obtaining unauthorized access, or inappropriate use of contractor or government equipment. The IAM will also be responsible for ensuring that all classified systems are audited and documented at appropriate intervals and that all IA security incidents are reported to the government Program Manager (or designee), the FSO, and the Contractor Lead.

Additional duties include researching and scoping security requirements for applications and systems; guiding IA control measures through security documentation, processing, and testing of access authorization levels; and development and implementation of security policies in accordance with the requirements of the NISPOM, AFRL security regulations, Air Force instructions (AFI’s) and DoD Directives. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, and minutes; attending Configuration Management meetings and recording and publishing the meeting minutes; managing the schedules of the Contractor Operations Lead and select technical leads; managing technical metric data repositories; collecting and presenting system usage and operational metrics to Operations management; and performing other administrative duties as required.

Additional responsibilities include supporting various customer representatives by gathering, analyzing, and reporting requirements, allocations, and usage information on computational projects being supported by our customers.

Responsibilities include assisting Project Leaders in obtaining information on project and system usage; coordinating requirements surveys; monitoring project resource allocations against their usage; and providing assistance to users on which assets are appropriate for their projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or High school education or equivalent degree and 6+ years of specialized administrative support experience.

Responsibilities include designing web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality working directly with clients and team members to determine project scope and specifications.

Duties include managing the web servers ensuring server performance, security, and accessibility; development of web page infrastructure and portal applications related to specific supported research programs; implementation of advanced graphics and features; and the development, assessment and publication of web site usage and security policies and standards.

The Webmaster will provide technical assistance to other staff members who need to develop web accessible applications or data stores, and may make technology assessments and recommendations to management with regard to hardware and software required to maintain the web server security, functionality, and/or performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (or related field) and 4+ years related experience.

The Successful Candidate will provide publication, technical editing and presentation graphics support for management presentations, outreach initiatives, and technical staff publications. The Technical editing duties include but not limited to: reviewing rough drafts and making editing suggestions; proofreading and providing writing support on proposals or management reports, technical documentation (e.g. manuals, procedures, specifications), staff publications, and other material prepared by our customer.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The LMR Specialist will provide technical support for our for the Navy’s Pacific Land Mobile Radio (PLMR) and Wireless Program. Specific tasking for this position includes:

· Provides technical review and draft white papers or project analysis for

PLMR supported functions.

· Provides solution and coordination for Commander, Navy Region Hawaii

(CNRH) PLMR projects.

· Supports PLMR technical requirements for unit programming, and supports talk

group management in accordance with established Government policies and

directives.

· Provides project coordination for PLMR related services, including customer,

vendor, and inter/intra Government coordination.

· Completes service validations, site surveys, and data calls. Also develops and

maintains inventories, and responds to data calls.

· Assists with PLMR asset and circuit equipment validations. Maintains and

manages the LMR database in accordance with Government’s tracking

requirements.

· Understands user features and advises customers of feature availabilities, and

feature interactions.

· Supports PLMR service, issue radios, base stations, and verify service, maintain

inventories and user database information. Provides 1st and 2nd level of trouble

isolation and resolution.

· Trouble shoots circuits, equipment related to PLMR network devices, and LMR

devices including hand held, mounted/mobile, base stations, antennas, and

receivers.

· Provides development support for Statements of Work (SOWs), white papers,

and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

· Provides support related to other wireless devices including cells, pagers, Iridium

phones, and COMSAT equipment.

· Supports customer requirements for Spectrum Management which includes

coordination of frequency use and approvals through the Navy Marine Corps

Spectrum Management Office (NMCSO).

· Conducts infrastructure analysis and develop a communications plan to support

LMR throughout Hawaii

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience with Navy Electronic Systems. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with LMR's.

- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance

- Must have knowledge of all phases of LMR and PACMERS.

- Must have experience working with the Navy’s LMR program.

- Must have experience of equipment repair and maintenance procedures.

- Must have mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Assurance or a relevant discipline. 4 years of IT and Information Asssurance /security work experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Experience in information security management as implemented in accordance with DON policies and instructions. Mid-level knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
